I'm a 23-year-old fresh graduated student. I live in Muscat, the capital of Sultanate of Oman, where I was born and raised. I completed my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering last summer from Sultan Qaboos University(SQU).

ّMy interests and hobbies vary in different areas. I can say, traveling is one of the best for me. Also, I love volunteering with kids, I like reading as well and playing different kinds of outdoor sports (soccer, swimming, horse riding, ...)

Furthermore, I'm a very social person that loves meeting different people and know more about their cultures and their ways of living, and for that reason, I'm trying to learn how to speak more and more languages, so that I can communicate with different people from different parts of the world. I'm a good listener especially when the topics is about history, art, culture, and personal experience.

All in all, I'm the kind of person that is outgoing and active, who loves meeting new people and shear with them experience, stories and thoughts.

I believe that "variety is the spice of life", and we can increase our knowledge, increase our understanding to each other if we seat together, and listen to the other ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to be in direct contact with the local people, to see how they are living how they are thinking and planning, and to know more about their culture, history, language and religion, not only see the sights and the markets of a country, but also to know more about the people of that place. For that reason, I prefer to stay with a citizen of the country rather than just staying in a normal hotel. I believe that I can learn a lot from every person I met, and who know you might learn little this from me (-:, maybe about my country (Oman), my language (Arabic), my religion ( Islam) or maybe you will be interested to hear some stories about my last journeys, Therefore, I'm using Couchsurfing to get what I love.

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally I like classic things, so, usually I like to hear classic thing, even in term of reading because I think classic things are timeless and some time they contain wisdoms and lessons in manner, beside that I like to read in other topics such as Arabic literature, history, art, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in last summer (2018) when I was in china I got lost in shanghai in the first day I arrive there by the train, every thig turn to be confusing , I took me a wild and a lot of walking till I found the hotel, even though all that walking, and because I have only the weekend in Shanghai, after short nap I continue exploring shanghai, at that day I walked around 30km (18.6m).

Teach, Learn, Share

The most interesting thing for me is to learn about other cultures and ethnicities.

In fact, I love making trips within my country, and because of that, I have the ability to teach tourists about Oman, and it will be great to share my knowledge with others.
