I am a postgrad student and a researcher in Machine Learning and when I'm not tinkering with my laptop working on something, I am usually a laid back guy eager to meet new people and experience life. I enjoy travelling and am always looking to broadening horizons as I visit new places and meet new people.

I'm here on couchsurfing because I find the idea of going to an unknown place, being invited into a stranger's and hopefully prospective friend's home, living under their roof and breaking bread while getting to know them and the place they live an absolutely delightful concept. And what would life be without some of these experiences.

My likes are pretty haphazard and scattered. In terms of movies, I usually enjoy watching sci-fi movies or ones with at least a modicum of mystery to them. Similar tastes with books although I'm not really a prolific reader. My tastes in music varies - so as to not appear too vague, I can say have only followed a handful of bands and musicians - Linkin Park, Poets of the Fall, Iron Maiden, some more of Neil Young. Other than that I probably listen to whatever YouTube suggests to me when I am listening to one song or the other which I am into currently.
