About Me
I like to think about myself as a passionate student of life, and my philosophy is that you can always learn and experience something new. And you should, because life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
I am passionate about the environment and our planet, and the reason i want to travel and experience new places and meet new people is embodied in the quote from David Attenborough - “No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experiened”
Once i was blind but now i see is a good way of describing my journey the past years, but i also choose to act through fundamental changes in my life. I think Emile Gauvreau said it best in the quote “I was part of that strange race of people aptly described as spending their lives doing things they detest, to make money they don't want, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like.”
I am pescetarian for sustainability reasons because i want to reduce my carbon footprint. Also it is a healthy lifestyle. And for the same reason i don't have a car.
I have many hobbies interests but these days i focus on; Sailing, Bouldering and rock climbing, hiking, yoga, calisthenics, swimming and bicycling.
I also like to be social, just have a beer, play cards or a board game etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect with and learn from people from all over the world, through meaningful conversations and the sharing of meals and experiences. Also i think Couchsurfing is a non capitalistic way to travel and see the world that makes people able to travel more, go further and stay longer on their travels then ever before.
