ABOUT ME

What to say?

Born in Luxembourg, raised by my mother, who let me go to a European school. That was cool. Learned a lot about languages and differences in culture there.

When I left school, i went to Holland. That's where my parents come from. I moved to Wageningen, which is a small town in the center of Holland. Hallucinated a little there, and then I started meditating. Made a few big trips through Europe and have worked for ten months in Peru. I write these things down, because each event has had an impact on my personality. But they are not the only ones. O yeah, I have lived in paradise.

By now, I have lived in Amsterdam for two years, engaging in all kinds of different little jobs with little in common except that they all somehow contribute to a better world.

One thing that is good to know about me, is that although I often look serious, I am usually making fun of reality.

PHILOSOPHY

I have the tendency to think a lot about a lot of different things.

My philosophy flows with time, but there is something that remains. I beleive there is only one soul. This soul connects us all. The rest keeps changing. Life, to me, is about recognizing this soul in ourselves and each other, sharing it, while celebrating everything that separates us, and making fun of it, because it's silly.

One thing that I believe strongly, is that there is a collective subconsciousness, with which (for example) I as an individual and my family and surrounding friends attract our destiny. We are connected, and subconsciously know more about each other than we like to admit.

These thoughts do not yield money though. I have been looking for structural work for two years (always busy) but I keep to struggling to survive. I do believe that will change on day.

I participate by being open to people who contact me. Sometimes also by answering to group calls, but not often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am on this website for a few years now, and have had only good experiences. I have hosted several individuals and groups, and I am still open and willing to host or show people around. It is an easy way to get in touch, right?

Nature, philosophy, hallucinogenic plants, travelling, fire, gardens, water, dreaming, taking a shit, drugs, sex, spirituality, films, food, capoeira, plants that smell nice,air, music with cool rythms and a nice tune, magic, power,earth, energy, money, Cheese, chocolate, writing...

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of the Hitch Hikers guide to the Galaxy, and I liked the Lord of the Rings, and the Da Vinci code. And the Celestene Prophecy and Harry Potter. Read the first book of Carlos Castaneda a few years ago, which was cool.

I am currently reading the one hundred year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared.

Movies, well the Matix is a classical one. Saw dead man walking. That's cool too. And films like Little buddha, or goodbye Lenin. Fight club. I like story line twists. And Tarantino and David Lynch. O yes, and 300 is a really great movie too. I´m adding a few more: Kill Bill, the Changeling, The curious case of Benjamin Button, the dark Knight, Waking Life, Vicky Christina Barcelona, David Lynch though he's odd, and the Coen Brothers. I guess I could go on for a while

O yes, music. Tool, Radiohead, but I like electronic music at times, and spiritual music like Sigur Ros, alternative, off stream, and on stream stuff. Everything is cool, but rythm and melody are important for me. And recently I like Jazz like Miles Davis and but also Bill Withers or Jagga Jazzist, but that's no jazz either.
