Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love traveling, seeing new places and learning about different cultures. Traveling gives me a sense of alertness which is difficult to fully describe.

People are the heart of places. I'd love to meet new people through couchsurfing while exploring new cities and places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not stayed with a host yet, but have hosted surfers.

Once in New Orleans and had a great experience. While touring a busy street we found a great brewery and played some dominoes.

Another time two brave souls came up the the winter wonder land of the UP of Michigan to see the University there. It happened to be winter carnival and we ran around campus to look at snow statures being built and they went snowboarding.

Also, in Corpus Christi I hosted a friend and even though I had to work we grilled on the patio in the summer heat and found some good seafood out on the town that week.

Interests

SAILING! Also rock climbing, camping, adventuring in general... and snowboarding. When I have plenty of time I brew my own beer, other times I try different micobrews. Also, I'm wilderness EMT certified, just in case.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like mostly all music, not really metal or mariachi band music though. I try to stay up-to-date on recent movies and usually have at least one book waiting for me to read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wilderness survival class was awesome. Red river gorge is really beautiful. Haha, just surviving winter at Michigan Tech is an experience. Snow over your head!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning and have much to learn.
I can teach sailing and...english, ect.
I share awesome leftovers!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love entertaining, so as long as I'm not working, good food, company, outside activities, a safe place to sleep.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Guatemala, Jamaica, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
