Spent the better part of a decade as a sailing instructor for kids. Now I build robots (the friendly kind).

Avid scifi/fantasy lover as I believe it's important to foster the imagination.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some couchsurfing in the US, and I've enjoyed every experience so far.

Most of my travel experience has been in hostels and on my boat (aka home).

I believe the couchsurfing model is an excellent way to meet new people, who can then help me learn more about cool places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed across the Pacific Ocean, from Mexico to New Zealand with many stops along the way. I was captain of the boat from French Polynesia to New Zealand.

Ask anything physics related and odds are I will have the answer. If I don't I will find out. I'd love to learn any traveling tips people might have, and places to go only the locals know.
