Music, Movies, and Books

Jackson Browne, Billy Joel, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, The Avett Brothers, The Eagles. Two recent books I've read "The Power and the Glory" and "And the Mountains Echoed." Currently working through some theology books. Woody Allen, Federico Fellini, Terence Malick, and Martin Scorsese are some of my favorite directors, and I can tolerate Wes Anderson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go on YouTube and look up "Hillsdale college the good the true the beautiful." That video was my idea.

Teach, Learn, Share

Piano, cooking, fitness tips, economic development, politics in the U.S. I was the president of my fraternity in college so I have some stories to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A mattress in the historic Joseph Berry Subdivision up the street from the Manoogian Mansion (where the mayor lives) and across the water from the historic Detroit Yacht club. I own a speedboat and am happy to take guests out on the water. I am a member of the Detroit Yacht Club, and can also get you free access to the Detroit Insitute of Arts. Personalized tour of downtown and midtown Detroit, behind the scenes look at the Detroit Opera House and Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and a drinking partner at local jazz clubs and bars.
