Hi! I'm a new couchsurfer. I travelled a lot with my family when I was younger, but only recently started backpacking and couchsurfing by myself. I like meeting laid-back and well-read people.

I'm a freelance journalist and editor – formerly at the McGill Daily (www.mcgilldaily.com), and now at re:asian (www.reasian.com). I'm involved in // interested in social justice: particularly feminism and anti-racism, and migrant justice.

I just graduated from McGill University in Montreal with an undergrad degree in philosophy. Before I start working I'm taking ~7 months to travel (mostly by myself) around China, Southeast Asia, and India.

I'm trying to travel as cheap as possible, and also make new friends to explore with!

I'm obsessed with food markets and if I stay with you I'll spend all day wandering around a market and picking up food to cook us a meal!

I'm great with writing and editing stuff (essays, cover letters, fiction, etc.), and can do a little graphic design and photo editing. I'm travelling with my DSLR and can take photos for you (headshots, event photos, pet photos, etc.). I can teach you software like Photoshop, WordPress, InDesign and Mailchimp.

I want to practice my French, Spanish, and Gujarati, and learn Hindi. I want to learn guitar! I want to learn to cook new dishes and ride a motorcycle!
