Overview
About Me
I am a travel writer doing a PhD in philosophy and cognitive science in Paris, where I also collaborate with the artists in the collective La Malle des Indes.
Traveling and doing art (in whichever form) are the driving forces behind most of what I do. Both are forms of immersing oneself in the world, of transcending oneself and of sharing one's life with others.
When I'm traveling, I love to do so on foot or hitchhiking. It opens the door for the unexpected to happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been in Couchsurfing for five years now. Whether as a host or as a guest, it has always proven to be a wonderful experience. It is one of the best ways I know of meeting new people, specially people outside of my usual social circles, and of sharing stories and experiences. When I travel, Couchsurfing is a way to get a feeling go the local life of a new place. When I host, it is a wonderful way of seeing my own city with fresh eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Following the footsteps of 17th Century poet Matsuo Basho in a 2000km hike around Japan, together with the amazing artist Anya Gleizer.
Crossing Europe hitchhiking till Tallin, then hitchiking to Nordkapp through the baltics and then staying in the artic mountains for a while, just to cross it down again to Madrid (and now I will be crossing soon to North Africa).
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to teach people how to meditate, to give some writing tips, even to discuss the workings of the human mind (my field of research) if anyone is interested into that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a lot of stories, and I can be a good listener to their stories.
I can also cook some Spanish food, clean the dishes and help around in general.
I can share the fresh energy with which I travel with whoever is my host.
