ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old from New Orleans, Louisiana who feels like he needs to explore Europe now or I may never get another chance. I really want to either get a sports job in Europe or on board a cruise ship because I really like to travel. I hate being in the same place for a long time. I am about halfway through my tour of Europe right now having explored Italy, Greece, Eastern Europe, Austria, Spain, and the French Riviera.

I enjoy walking, reading, watching movies, watching/playing sports, history, culture, and many other things that make Europe very fun for me. I would like to go to a soccer game while I am here(I wanted to in Barcelona, but they didn't play while I was there).

I graduated from Louisiana State University last year in Sports Management with a minor in Business Management so I am also trying to get some of the sports culture here. I am loving Europe so far.

Generally, I am a quiet person, but I am also very friendly with anybody. I don't like staying in one place very long because I like new things and new adventures and once I get used to a place, it seems like I need to move on. I guess that is a good thing when I am trying to see all of Europe in 95 days.

New Orleans is a really great city with a great culture and great food, but it is cool to see the great cultures and food that Europe has to offer as well.

My personal philosophy is to live life. Always try to make the most out of every opportunity. Cliches are fun...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never hosted or surfed yet, but I am very interested in surfing(and hosting once I get back). I think the purpose of this site is really cool as you really get to meet people with similar interests as you. When you stay in hostels, you may or may not meet people with similar interests and that can really affect your stay in cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never used it before. I am a newbie. I am looking forward to my first surf though.

I like almost all music.
My favorite movies are Terminator 2 and Lion King...a deadly combination. But I also really enjoy everything from classics like Seven Samurai to new movies like Kick-Ass. I really watch a ton of movies and consider myself a little aficionado.
My favorite book is probably either Three Kingdoms or Where the Red Fern Grows. I also read a good bit of books(not as much as I should, but I already read 10 books on this trip).

Amazing is perspective. I have seen great sports plays in person. I also have seen great Broadway plays. I also saw great natural sights in Hawai'i and the Bahamas and great man-made structures such as the Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Superdome, and Hoover Dam up close and personal.

I want to learn the basics of every language.

I am a pretty intelligent individual who can probably teach a lot of things, but I am apparently not smart enough to articulate my thoughts into this box...but if you want to learn something from me, just ask. I would be happy to oblige.
