Simply put, to meet people from all over the world and to share our own unique experiences and perspectives with each other.

I don't exactly remember how I heard about CS, but I wish I knew about it sooner.

I don't care about luxury hotels, tour guide packages, or fancy souvenirs. To me, these things actually keep you from truly experiencing the culture of a country. I find nothing more precious than sharing a conversation over a cup of coffee with a stranger from the other side of the world, or being invited into someone's home and sharing a meal together. It's the people that matter to me.
