About Me

Hello! I’m a 25-year-old Graduate Architect from India, & presently living in Dublin. I’ve gathered varying experiences in commercial, real estate, and residential projects, events, and graphic design.

Realizing that there is a need for the mindful and responsible design of the built environment, I started pursuing Masters in Architectural Science, Sustainable Building Design and Performance from University College Dublin, Ireland. As corny as it sounds, this decision was somehow inspired by my 14-year-old self who was awestruck by Irish beauty after watching the movie PS I love you :P

I haven't regretted this decision so far, Ireland has been very welcoming and being a nature-lover, I have enjoyed incredible nature hikes, picnics and barbecues just making the most of sunny days.

I also work as a part-time front desk receptionist at a Georgian Bed and breakfast hotel in Dublin where I get paid to meet travelers across the world every day. How awesome is that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up, I could never fit in the crowds. I was an oddball who could never really follow a set path. Being a brown child convincing your parents to go out and travel on your own wasn't exactly easy. Now that I live in Europe by myself, I want to utilize every opportunity I get, with every penny I have saved to travel and travel more and live my dream.

I'm pretty easy going and laid back, at the same time passionate about the everyday little things. Having lived in Dublin for almost a year now and studying in an International University had molded me into a more global person and I don't think I belong to one particular place anymore.

Being an architect, it's the little cobbled streets, the quirky facades, and color pops of less-visited corners of any city that excite me. And I believe, the best way to discover them would be with a local.
