Hey Everyone,

I will be taking some time out to go roam from place to place with just my tent, my sketch pad and a camera so unfortunately I won't be hosting for the foreseeable .

**Please note, I live in Norwood, Greater London - 20 mins train to central London**

Let's see a bit about myself...

I am a keen traveller. My life's ambition was always to see every country in the world (I soon realised that my life´s ambition should have been to make lots of money - so I could see every country in the world!)

I have travelled to nearly 30 countries and I aim to visit quite a few more in the next year as work have agreed for me to take a sabbaticall! I'd say I am more in to the cultural aspect of travelling (the people, the architecture, soaking up the atmosphere) rather than the partying side of travelling although I don't mind the occasional drinks or a night out at a club...but long gone are the days that I can stay up until 6am. I'm not a square I assure you :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet great people from all walks of life! CS in particular for several reasons:

1) I think this is a good way to meet locals or people that have a good idea about the area. So its definitely something people should consider for the social aspect

2) I'll admit that sometimes I can be shy in large groups so a hostel type environment with loads of 18 years olds having playing beer pong may not be the right fit for me

and I live by the motto "Mi casa es su casa!"

Interests

Flown a small Cessna plane. Camped out under the stars in the Sahara - the best place to see them. Climbed an active volcano in Indonesia.
