I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and am planning to travel around for a few months before committing to a full time job!

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Seattle, WA when I was 10. When I was 18, I decided to attend Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and completed two study abroad programs in Dublin, Ireland, and Melbourne, Australia. I absolutely love traveling and meeting new people - I've made lifelong friends throughout all of my traveling experiences and would love to make more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couchsurfing, but it seems like couchsurfing is a great way to share experiences with people all around the world and the expertise you can get from the locals.

& I will be starting a U.S. west coast road trip in June 2015, and would love to meet new people along the way :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being picked up by a van at 2AM to drive 2 hours to Mt. Batur in Bali, Indonesia, to hike up Mt. Batur and watch the most beautiful sunrise. Breakfast was also served at the top, and the eggs were boiled by volcanic steam - yum!
