I'm a self-professed nerd. I'm into movies, music, theater, comedy, gaming (video/tabletop varieties), history, science, and technology. I love to travel and explore cities as well as nature, see live shows, and meet fascinating people with different life experiences. I place a lot of value on good relationships with exceptional people.

I'm an LA-based screenwriter/playwright originally from Oklahoma. I was an Arts & Entertainment journalist for 7 years. I've produced and directed a few short films, music videos, and plays. I'm one of the co-founders of the Oklahoma improv comedy scene. Art was the focus of my life when I was younger. Planning to pick it back up soon.

I enjoy travel and have visited most major American cities and some fantastic national parks. Before CS I was pretty limited to traveling once every few years. Thanks to this great site and the wonderful community of CS users I have been able to travel far more often.

Right now, I participate by using the site to travel to places I would not be able to afford otherwise and get an insider's view of cities I visit, enabled by the kindness and insight of CS hosts. I hope to be able to host in the future after moving into a larger apartment.
