I've never really gotten used to filling these things out. I am an under-employed radio producer, but read on if you want to know my digital phantom better.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because it was something I was charged with on the day of my birth. Eventually, I'll be laid with the worms but, in the meantime, I enjoy my surroundings and the company of others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been pretty slack in my vibrant local community of Portland, OR Couchsurfers. I love CouchSurfing - not for the 'free bed', but for the people you meet, and I try to meet CSers wherever I go even if I've a place to stay!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a lot of people when I had my own place to do it. I'm excited to be setting up shop in a new place soon, and look forward to exploring my new hometown with the friends I make.

I've a broad range of interests, so try me! My favorite aspect of new relationships is finding out how much about the world around me that I don't yet know.

I've finally had a chance to listen to some of the music I've ripped over the ages. Right now, I'm listening to Busta Rhymes, RZA, Broadcast and the Focus Group, Bis, Bikeride, Bear In Heaven, Beak, Asheru and Blue Black, The Clientele, Clinic, Digital Underground, Felix Da Housecat, Gui Boratto, Harlan T. Bobo, IAM, Julie Doirion, Lindstrom, The Microphones (though, much more of Mount Eerie), Ms. John Soda, S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M., Ras Kass, Rose Melberg, Styles of Beyond, TTC, The Who, Yacht, and omg let me show you my indie.

I've been watching some TV, since it's cold outside, but some of my all-time favorites are: Twin Peaks, Mad Men, Darkplace, League of Gentlemen, Deadwood, Rome, Nova, Lost, Fringe, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter, Funland, Look Around You (first season), Six Feet Under, Weeds, Breaking Bad, V, etc.

I can't pinpoint any one amazing thing. I can only say that most of them involve fireworks and other shimmering objects.

I've learned that true couchsurfing souls are above the utility of the site; they find bliss knowing and interacting with other people, and I'm not entirely convinced that they necessarily needed the website to do so.
