I'm an easygoing traveler who likes to read, cook, play music and hike. I'm serious about art, politics, and bourbon. Tidy and non-smoker. I like traveling alone and meeting lots of amazing people along the way. Currently based in Chicago working towards a Ph.D. in art history with a focus on Modernism.

Cooking fresh fish from the Venice pesceria. Learning to surf in Hawaii. Walking through the terraces at the Fondation Maeght in St. Paul de Vence. Staying up all night wandering through Toronto for Nuit Blanche. Helping to win the 2008 Iowa caucuses for Obama.
