Overview
About Me
I was born on a Mediterranean Peninsula called Monastir. I am curious, adventurous, and I love listening to people as they speak.
I aim to visit 30 African counties before reaching 30 and I hope to make as many friends as I could wherever I go.
I currently work at a company where I help African startups grow and expand across the continent. You can say that learning about the different corners of Africa is part of my job.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that a good way to learn and have fun at the same time is by meeting Couchsurfers since they are mostly fueled by curiosity and positive energy.
I enjoy sharing my stories with people and hearing theirs, showing them around (if I am the host), and creating unforgettable moments for both of us.
Interests
I can spend a whole night discussing culture and history, especially when it is related to Africa or the Arab world.
I love the beach and sea so much. I had a chance to do cliff diving in sea, ocean, lake, and waterfalls.

Music, Movies, and Books
Season of Migration to the North 📚
Modern Cairo 📚
Moon Over Samarkand 📚
Madame Bovary 📚
Paul and Virginia (I visited the place where Paul and Virginia grew up, and it is still exactly how Jacques Bernardin described it in 1788) 📚
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Everest! (Not to the summit though 😅)
I had an acting experience in Mauritius in a South African series named "Agent". The series was on Canal+ and Netflix. After some time, it was removed from the latter one for reasons I don't know (I almost cried 😅). The character I played in the series was "Adam", a football player with Marlboro United FC. You can still watch the series on fmovies, Egybest, and a few other streaming websites.
I taught English at a kindergarten in Russia for two months. I enjoyed sharing food with the kids, playing catch and hide during breaks, learning Russian from them, and feeding the snails and rabbits.
What I Can Share with Hosts
People usually say that I am a good storyteller. So, I believe that I will be naturally sharing stories about fun moments I had or lessons that life taught me.
I show people how to swim and dive whenever possible. I usually teach people Arabic words and phrases and make them fall in love with Arabic songs.
Besides, I am a good cook. So, expect to enjoy a delicious Tunisian meal.
