I am a Fulbright PhD scholar at the University of Toledo, Ohio, USA. It is an amazing experience to be thousands of miles away from my home country Pakistan. Being an exchange visitor, it is a great opportunity to share my culture and learn the american culture which is very diverse. People here are so nice and kind more than what I had expected. I love to hang out with people from different cultures and to know more about them. The weather in Ohio is so horrible which is completely opposite of what we have back home.
Basically I am a traveler and Photographer want to visit all the american states and explore them. Travelling to any new place makes me so excited and I really enjoy a lot.
Apart from Photography I am also a good cook and can cook traditional foods. I like every kind of healthy food and want a healthy lifestyle. I am a calm and soft person, like to spread love and respect human-beings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great platform where we could meet with people of diverse cultures and can exchange our ideas and experiences. I believe that there is nothing better than human relationships and spreading love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won Fulbright Scholarship in 2016 and was among 30 PhD students selected among 1700 candidates. I was lucky and consider it a big achievement. Being an ambassador of my country I have to engage in such activities which are not only better for the US but could also make me feel proud of being from my country Pakistan. Having Fulbright scholarship I am also here to work on spreading peace through education on which this scholarship is based.
