About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To go wherever my feet take me
ABOUT ME
I really love to hear stories, whether it is reading out loud with friends or making up silly stories or really taking the time to get to know someone. I enjoy philosophizing, taking photos, dancing, going to shows, yoga, have my second degree in Reiki, studied Ayurvedic Massage and Panchakarma therapy and love theatre. I feel really happy when I have a lot of stuff going on, but also enjoy taking walks in nature and just being still.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be as compassionate as possible
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed a couple times... in Quebec and in Belize.. but I hope to surf in Bolivia when I get there... all of my hosts have been awesome! I hope to be able to help others feel the same in Montreal or wherever I may happen to be.
I've hosted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as well as Quebec City.
Interests
I really love to plan events because they bring people together and create a greater sense of community. I am also really interested in culture and arts and love to write about and share cool cultural things happening about. I am learning how to do poi, and am a Reiki practitioner. I am really interested in food security issues and adore gardens... I love doing exchanges and making crafts...

Music, Movies, and Books
anything Douglas Coupland, books that talk about culture and communication (i.e. Rebel Sell by Heath and Potter, Chuck Klosterman books, Hello I'm Special), I adore graphic novels like Persepolis, the Watchmen, V for Vendetta and also French B.D.`s .... I really enjoyed the Witch of Portobello by Coehlo and I am a fan of The Book of Negros...
I had a radio show exploring subcultures of many different types of music, so I am really into music with meaning and history but also things that just sound good:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed at a beautiful permaculture house in the mountains outside Oaxaca City in Mexico... it was incredible to wake up to the stunning Oaxacan sunrise and live so lightly on the earth... we had chickens for eggs, bees for honey, organic food in the garden and the whole place was solar powered... when I think about it my heart feels warmer... it was definitely the most beautiful few days of my life.....
