ABOUT ME

In a nutshell: I grew up in Rabat (Morocco), lived in Berlin (Germany) for a year, and now living in Bordeaux (France) and loving it!

I have three great loves in life: cinema, music, and photography. I love going to museums, movie screenings, and I enjoy a good club every now and then (jamming to a Spotify playlist is also something I enjoy).

I'm absolutely passionate about languages. I've learned English, French, Arabic, Portuguese, and some German over the years. Currently studying Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The XX, Crystal Castles, Bonobo, Thievery Corporation, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Manu Chao, Degiheugi, NYM, Massive Attack, Banks, FKA Twigs, etc.

Movies: I (SERIOUSLY) can never decide which ones I like best, but Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson, Abdellatif Kechiche, Pedro Almodovar and Alfred Hitchcock are among my favorites.

Books: Same with movies, but my favorite authors include: F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hanif Kureishi, Sylvia Plath, Albert Camus, Gustave Flaubert, Molière, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a lot of Europe and North Africa, I've been to the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, and Southeast Asia. I like to believe that my experiences as a traveler have made me a better human being and citizen of the Earth.
