About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Roam the world before settling into reality

ABOUT ME

Lived my whole life so far in Perth, Australia.
I may seem shy when you first meet me, but I get better. I'm clumsy. Sometimes a scatter brain. But somehow I have survived!

Love to chat and learning about different walks of life, Ill ask plenty of questions and as long as you ask a ton back we will get along swimmingly.

PHILOSOPHY

Try new things, don't hold grudges, learn something from everyone you meet (be that something good or bad), laugh at yourself, smile at others and don't get caught up in the Rat Race of life.......

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use CS to learn about places from the best tour guides... locals!

* Note to the gents (and females!) - I use CS to make friendships and have fun - Do not see me as a dating opportunity *

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To use CS to get to know my future destinations from the insiders - the people who live there and know the secrets of their city, town, country or state! Learn about the road less traveled, amazing sites and places "off the beaten track".

Interests

Netball, occasional yoga class, pistol shooting, Scuba Diving, gardening, food markets

I work in engineering and all things architectural, mechanical, civil or engineered design work interests me – I love exploring old buildings, new architecture, weird and wonderful structures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a good book (Millennium Trilogy, Matthew Riley, Markus Zusak, "The Shadow of the Wind" - Carlos Ruiz Zafon)

I feel at home at music festivals and love roaming the stages for new and interesting music. While I like EDM, Drum n Bass, Dubstep, House (Porter Robinson, Mat Zo, Skrillex, Feed me, Bonobo, Snails, GRiZ) I am open to all genres (expect scremo... not a fan sorry!) Bands include Powderfinger, Grinspoon, The Offspring, Foo Fighters, London Grammer, MS MR, Kisschasy.

I can introduce you to some pretty awesome aussie music!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man.... the most amazing experience and mind blowing community in the world. 2014 was my first and defiantly not my last year.

Learning to Scuba Dive in Taganga, Colombia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cook, try new foods and am slowly picking up food tips and tricks. Honestly I am not sure what to share / teach at the moment - once I have some CS experience under my belt I will be able to answer this much better!
