Overview
About Me
I am an 18 year old girl from Canada who loves to travel and explore new cultures.
(Bonus points if you have been to Canada or can name 5 Canadian stereotypes)
I got my dual citizenship (UK/Canada) last summer and am currently working as an Au Pair in France until July. My friend from Canada and I will be traveling Europe in the summer. We would love to go out and have a drink, dance, or even go bowling with any of you!
I enjoy good company, coffee, and pizza.
Usually pretty shy until I either get to know you, or get drunk.
Also VERY awkward (but also awesome)
Eg: Once, on a tour in Dominican Republic, I tripped and fell flat on my face in front of the whole group.
The awesome part?
Just kidding there was no awesome part. Other than the awesomely awkward story. Bad example.
I learnt to skate at 2 years old, did figure skating until 10years old and played ringette ever since then. (okay, I know you dont know what “ringette” is, so its pretty much hockey, but with a ring instead of a puck. Its pretty cool. Google it.) I played tournaments in Finland and Sweden where my team won gold.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m couchsurfing because I love the idea of being able to meet new people and profit from a real cultural exchange while traveling the world.
I also love that most hosts make the time to talk to you, show you around, or hangout. CS creates connections with people globally that would otherwise (most likely) never happen.

Music, Movies, and Books
I dont watch a lot of movies but I do enjoy binge watching Friends or HIMYM on Netflix over and over.
I listen to all sorts of music but my favourite genres would be rap/hiphop, pop, alternative, and country (sorry to all the country music haters, but I’m not sorry).
I love going to music festivals and dancing, my next festival will be WKND Festival in Helsinki, Finland.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once witnessed Steve Aoki throw a cake into the face of a girl right in front of me.
Once in London I stumbled apon the premier of the latest Kingsman movie and saw all the stars from the second floor window of a Burger King. (Photo of Channing Tatum smiling AT ME as proof. Also, if you look close enough you can see the reflection of the Burger King logo in the window)
Teach, Learn, Share
I think it’s important to always be spontaneous and willing to step outside your comfort zone. Life would be boring if we always chose to live in a box and not continue to learn about ourselves, others, and the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to meet new people and discover different ways of living. I like to go to a new city without any plans so I can always be spontaneous! I’d love it if you would tell me/show me the best places to visit in your city :)
