About Me
Holla!
I grew up in Perth Australia and moved to Melbourne for University finishing up a bachelor of science in pathology and a diploma in global issues in 2014. I spent time traveling through Thailand and Tanzania/Zanzibar and volunteering with a company there called GIVE which I now have been working for in Laos as a guide. I strongly believe in mindful traveling and giving back in whatever ways I can. I have spent the last two years working for this company traveling in and around Laos working to introduce international volunteers to community based development projects and English teaching. I have just finished 2 months working in the village Sop Chem, Laos where together with the community we built a 20,000L water tank out of 4000 recycled plastic bottle bringing 57 families access to safe, clean drinking water!
I am heading back to university next year to do my masters in public health and hope to one day work for Doctors Without Borders :)
I love the outdoors - hiking/surfing/running/yoga/adventuring. I love to be thrown out of my comfort zone and I am always up for trying new things!
I am incredibly easy going, fun, friendly, chill and love a cold beer, a good cup of coffee and terrible jokes
How am I doing?
Sofa so good!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why not?!

Just a heads up I have joined couch surfer whilst traveling so I am unable to verify my account via phone and address because I currently do not have access to either of those things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In May this year I ran the Great Wall of China Marathon to fundraise over $10,000 to build the water tank we just finished in sop chem village. It was my first marathon and a gruelling 10hours and 13minutes later I finished as the 14th female across the line
