About Me
Hello! I recently moved to Los Angeles from Miami, FL. I’ve never couch surfed before and actually just learned about it. I love meeting new people from different places and cultures. I love the outdoors and being one with nature as well going out and having an incredible dinner at a really nice place. I’m looking to explore California and all its beauty now that I’m out here but sometimes life is too pricey so I decided to check this site out and see if it’ll help me meet new people and explore new areas without breaking the bank. Unfortunately I live in an artist house and I’m unable to have to have guests stay with me so I’m hoping that I’m able to go out and explore and meet others through here when I’m able to escape my daily routine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think this could be a great way to meet people and explore new areas. Everyone these days is so focused on their phones and technology that we’ve forgotten the importance of genuine human interactions. I think it’s so important for people to be one with the world and each other. Unfortunately I live in an artist house and I’m unable to have to have guests stay with me so I’m hoping that I’m able to go out and explore and meet others through here when I’m able to escape my daily routine.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of music, movies and books. It really depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m currently in the process of starting my own charity. I am also in the process of rebuilding myself as I just moved here from Miami Beach and drove across the country to LA to pursue my career. I decided to not only take the risk of moving but also placed myself in what would be an uncomfortable situation by leaving my own studio apartment and fur baby behind to live in an artist house with 34 other artists. I consider this to be amazing because I had an incredibly comfortable life in Miami and traded it all for my dreams, I don’t think people are willing to sacrifice as much as they used to in order to reach their dreams and I refuse to be one of those people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m self taught at the age of 8 how to read and write Spanish. I have a linguistics degree with a French concentration and a French minor and a communication studies degree with a focus on intercultural relations. I love to share the knowledge I gained in college as well as my real world experiences with others so that when they travel or meet others from a different place or culture they’ll be better prepared. Often times people forget the importance of understanding each other and our lives are heavily defined by our cultures, even just a bit of information about someone else’s culture can completely influence the way that that conversation or relationship will go. So why not be equipped for all walks of paths if you can! =)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m an incredible cook, or so I’ve been told! I love cooking something up and having everyone together to eat and enjoy each other’s company. I would be more than happy to cook something up for my host before the end of my stay!
