I am a Business Owner, Natural Therapist, Single Mother to my happy 9 year old daughter and we live in a very beautiful part of South Australia by the beach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined couch surfing because I am planning a year away travelling next year with my daughter and really hoping to meet some great people, have some fantastic experiences and share in the true culture of the places we visit and hope that we can offer a slice of our own culture from Australia. I really want to open my daughter up to this amazing world of ours and come to trust the beauty and goodness in people all around it. When our travels are over, we would love to start hosting here at home and return the favour to any of our friends we have made along the way.

Interests

I love the ocean and the beach and i surf and have a Stand Up Paddle board that my daughter and I go out paddling on. I also like yoga and anything to do with natural health and healing. Love to travel and see and experience new things and meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that my most amazing achievement in my life is that I have raised my beautiful daughter, Olivia, entirely on my own, and as challenging as it has been at times, I am truly grateful for her and proud of her and myself for doing so well :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am studying a TESOL course at the moment and am hoping to help people wanting to learn English or get some more practice and of course would love to learn some of the language of the countries we visit. I am an Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist and have quite a bit of knowledge in Natural health and am happy to share these skills also. My daughter Olivia and I love to share stories and have a good laugh
