I'm pretty laid back, I love going to new places and meeting new people, but like anyone I also like the occasional coffee alone or hanging out without talking much. I also love learning foreign languages and using them to connect with people.

There is nothing that I can't learn something from. Sounds cliche, but it's true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a house with three roommates and we are glad to host! If you already have a place to stay, I would also like to meet up while you are here, whether it's to show you cool places in Phoenix or to have a cup of coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None of my own, but I have had friends who spent time with couchsurfers and had great experiences. I have met some hosts through friends and I have consistently found them to be extremely likeable. I really enjoyed spending time with them.

Interests

While I'm only mediocre at making it, music is a huge part of my life. I think it's pretty safe to say I'm slightly addicted to it. I also like to read/write, and at the moment I'm actually trying to find my favorite Roald Dahl book, The Witches, in Spanish. I have to start somewhere, right?

I also love swimming, biking and running. Exploring in general is also a favorite passtime, whether it's a new city or a strange trail but I feel like all of us here are pretty into that.

I don't know if this counts as an interest, but I absolutely love Thai and Indian food. I also like trying new foods, although I'm a little more amiable to new spices and vegetables than I am to organs that I haven't grown up eating. I'm still very curious about them though, so I'm working on it!

A lot of indie rock, but usually if I'm given enough time with any band or genre I'll become obsessed with it.
