Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to go to as many local events that cross my path as I can. It's always nice to impart some local knowledge on unsuspecting strangers ;) Am currently doing some surfing in my travels across Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly surfing and social outings. I've done a couple of really great short trips away with couch surfers in my local area. Met some great people along the way.

Interests

Cooking, baking, drawing/sketching, cake decorating, animating, hiking, learning, exploring, sharing great moments and experiences with friends, hosting dinner parties, camping, sailing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a soft spot for the novels of the victorian era (and their made for tv BBC adaptions), Sci-Fi and fantasy books and films (the good ones and the cheesy ones). I love big hard cover books on artists, designers and animators, a great source of inspiration. I'm always up for some live music whether it be a band I know in a stadium or an intimate show in a pub. I tend towards the alternative genres when I'm listening on my own and have a reputation for listening to things my friends find unpalatable. Although I also love a good 90's party mix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed from Sydney to Coffs Harbour in a yacht race. I did this trip twice and the fact that I got sick on both occasions and still kept doing it must suggest that it was pretty worth while.
