Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would say CS is an amazing platform to reach the locals, to experience how locals live in a city. Travelling is not just sightseeing, nor doing a check-in on Facebook. It's about interacting with locals, knowing the city's history and culture. For me, travelling can only be meaningful in this way. Though CS, I can experience all these, nothing better than having a stay in a local's home, right?

I like swimming and cycling. I am really glad to see many European cities are bicycle-friendly!

I like Chinese calligraphy as well. Though I am not good at it as I am just a beginner, I would love to share this to the people I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't list any favourite music, movies or books as I usually listen, watch or read a broad spectrum of them. Yet, I do have a particular genre that I love, like classical music, romantic movies, and fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Kyrgyzstan last summer as a volunteer. During my stay, I went to many lovely places with my friends. One really unforgettable experience would be my stay in Song Kol Lake, a high attitude lake in Kyrgyzstan with my friends from Hungary, the Netherland and Mongolia. Everybody warned us, telling us not to go as it would be freezing there, but we insist in going. We even jumped into the lake and swam. Luckily we were not frozen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you photography, or even be your photographer if you don't mind being my model. I can teach you Chinese and Chinese Calligraphy. One thing I really want to share is the Umbrella Revolution happened in Hong Kong last year. It would be great if I can learn a new language from you!

I can share with you my past travelling experiences, my bobbies, something about Hong Kong and why would there a difference between Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Mainland China, etc. Right now I am having a busking project in several cities in Europe.
