ABOUT ME

I am married to a man very different from me. I am adventurous, easy going, calm, large. I can do a short hike (with walking sticks)- I enjoy the photo-taking, the drink/dinner/coffee, the trees, the beach.
I am mother of twin boys- I like to bike.

PHILOSOPHY

I wake up and wonder what is happening today- Do I want to be inside or outside and move accordingly?
Really prefer not to wear shoes- so I think people who spit on the sidewalk really should be shot!
I don't try to change things that I cannot change. I appreciate those who respect the Earth and our need to share it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can give my opinions, my observations, and New Orleans' hurricane Katrina flood/ disaster tour! Been here my whole life and know lots of folks- yeah you right. I support local music scene- live local music, WWOZ-FM 90.7, Tipitina's, Jazz Fest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have met a couple CS guys and given them rides and advice on what to see while in town.

Been asked to host but I do not believe my husband is OKAY with that- he is not a trusting soul.

Better off as a contact- like yo momma would be- no problem with that- contacting me is fine-

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Canadian Rockies at Jasper,AB and Northern lights; A desire to hang out near nature; Hitchhiked from Maine to New Orleans in 1976-5 weeks in Europe on my own- and learning to enjoy life at 50! A new hip allows for this now! yay medicine.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching: When you get older- things in your body change- nothing you can do about it- and certainly medicine is limited- so ENJOY the flexibility you have when young! It leaves you as you age-as do a few other things...
