Moving to Istanbul

ABOUT ME

Growing up and living in several different parts of the world, turned me into an open-minded person. I am very curious about other cultures. This characteristic made me choose the profession I have nowadays. I work as a development worker in third world countries, mainly on health and gender projects. My friends describe as an adventurous person, and they are always wondering what my next plan is going to be. Other descriptions that would fit me: kind and polite, family person, young hearted and sometimes a bit chaotic. Beside all the things connected to my job, like travelling and different cultures, I also like to read, dance go out, do yoga, and have fun in life!

I have been hosted by several people... and it was an amazing experience. In Amsterdam I have hosted many people, since it is a very busy backpacker place. I would love to host people in PNG, but there are not so many travellers around. So if you are passing by, feel free to drop a line..

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books: Almost anything I can get my hands on, however i have a special thing going on for fantasy/science fiction stories at the moment! However social/political or history books are also always welcome.

Movies: I don’t have a television since 11 years, and loving it. Sometimes I watch movies on my laptop, and I have slight preference for documentaries or more cult movies.

Can give you some yoga lesson, teach you how to make delicious vega food, and show you around Istanbul (althuogh it will more be discovering Istanbul together, since I just moved here!)
