About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See 1001 movies, read 1001 books, listen to 1001 albums and 1001 songs.

ABOUT ME

Peculiar. If you want to know what it means, give me a couch or come to me and discover! My first impression might be a little plain, but people that gets to know me better will understand what I mean.

PHILOSOPHY

Give love, even if its an enemy. Nothing annoy then so much. And look at others not only as a mean, but also as a goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed:

# Emilia Glista june 2009
# Jiri Nevrla august 2012
# Zdenek Muzik august 2012

I hosted:

# Zdenek Muzik august 2012
# Misaki Tachibana august 2012
# Kouki Kinoshita august 2012

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic!

However, during my first stay, the host's family member became ill and we had to leave earlier, poor Emily...
Then, we did couchsurfing in Prague three years later with Jiri and Zdenek.

I planned to do it many times, but could never find people that wanted to follow me. It is not fun to do couchsurfing by yourself! I hope I will continue to be active in this community, its so much fun!

Interests

Japanese calligraphy, japanese tea ceremony, western independent music, shopping (especially secondhand ;)), eating, watching british/americans series, talking to valuable and intelligent people from which I can learn something new!
I'm a sport person so any physical activity is perfect for me : hiking, swimming, volleyball...

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: My actual goal for vacation would be to watch films enlisted in this book.

Books : too many... But I guess my favourite would be "Fear and Trembling" of Amelie Nothomb?

Music:

I absolutely love going to concerts, to feel the crowd, to be moved by it, to paint and have cramps the next day from excessive pogo, to see musicians right in front of me and to stalk them after the concert (sometimes it works and I get nice pictures and autographs!). Going to the closest airport vip sector after the concert also works sometimes, but it's an option for very patient people only! I dream of concerts of Depeche Mode, Interpol and God is an Astronaut.

If you come one day to visit me, I would love to show you my ticket collection and tell you some nice anegdotes. It's my little treasure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a meme with an owl in diapers smoking crack...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a horrible teacher, but I could give you japanese, french and polish lessons, personnally or thru skype! Couchsurfers are very keen on food most of the time, but trust me, you don't want me cooking. It's pure EVIL.
I would love to share music with you, I am always willing to discover a pearl in the the ocean of musical junk. I would also love to share movies and books, but I am far from being an expert in those areas, so I probably will give you titles you already know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Lithuania, Morocco, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Poland
