About Me
We are a happy little family of 4 - Ali, Caitlin, Alex, and myself. We are pretty much your standard young, liberal adults oppressed by the constraints of modern society and burdened with concern for the current environmental situation, but we're havin' a good time.
I'm studying a degree in Urban Horticulture which I guess reveals that I really like plants and gardening and hope to one day be a farmer. An organic one, of course.
Ali has pretty recently arrived from the UK after spending loads of time living in Chile; Cait is a part-time cafe worker/full-time top chick; and Alex works as a photographer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Just to bring a little something extra into the urban lifestyle. Perhaps to fill the void felt by a natureless city existence with some type of interesting cultural exchange. Mainly just to meet some cool people from somewhere different and offer them a free and cute place to sleep. Melbourne isn't really that natureless either, it's pretty awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are all very keen on language exchange and practice! Ali speaks a multitude of languages (Spanish, French, German, maybe a touch of Arabic and probably something else); Mariana, the beautiful Brasiliana speaks Portuguese and I can speak Italian moderately well.
We're an inquisitive and creative bunch and like to learn lots of other things, too.
Countries I’ve Lived In
England, Italy, Scotland
