About Me
People usually call me a grandma but I swear I am fun, sometimes I just love to be in my bed early…
When I travel, I love to go to museums, walk around and eat the local food!
I am an avid reader, I love books, history, arts and travelling!
I grew up in a multi cultural household so I am very open minded to all cultures. For me, food, literature, and cinema are the best way to discover other countries!
I don't take life really seriously, love to discuss about anything, challenge myself and what I love overall is to laugh, and to meet new people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to travel all around and meet new people who would be ready (or not) to make me discover their lifestyle or the place they live.
Music, Movies, and Books
Master and Margarita by Boulgakov, East of Eden by Steinbeck
Leo Tolstoy, Sandor Marai, Naguib Mahfouz, Virginia Woolf, Mieko Kawakami, Yuko Tsushima, Nawal Al Saadawi,
I have been reading a lot of Palestian literature lately, and been loving Susan Abulhaw, Adania Shibli, and Ghassan Kanafani.
Some of my favorite author are Virginia Woolf, Kate Atkinson, Tolstoy, Elsa Triolet are some of my favorite authors
Last but not least I think absolutely everyone should read bullshit jobs by David Graeber (or anything by him).
I am not a big cinephile (although I actually watch a lot of movies), and if you ask me what's my favorite movie, I will probably answer you "10 things I hate about you"... but it's a Shakespeare adaptation with Heath Ledger so...
I love Japanese and Iranian cinema and am a big fan of Miyazaki’s work
