I was raised in a small town so I was always outdoors and playing sports. I'm big on trying new things and experiencing all sorts of adventures. I've just recently graduated from university in Kinesiology, so needless to say I'm an exercise and health enthusiast.

My bucket list includes bungee jumping, skydiving, travelling the world, cliff jumping, and all sorts of other activities I haven't had the chance to do. On the contrary I'm also a part time grandma that enjoys staying in, napping, and reading books.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not quite ready to "adult" yet, so here I am attempting to travel the world and gain every experience with the minimal damage to my visa card. I want to get outside of my comfort zone and experience the world. I hope to meet some really cool people and make new friends in my travels. I hope to make some lifelong friends, and perhaps even meet some locals that can show me amazing sights of the world. I would love to meet some people on here that love doing outdoorsy things, such as hikes, kayaking (etc.) and would accompany me on some!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My classmates and I once raised $5,000 in one week for a soup kitchen project we created and used that money to cook and feed an entire poverty-stricken village!
