Hi everyone,
My name is Salomé, I'm 22 and I'm french. Born and raised in Nantes, a big city full of amazing things to discover and to experienced. I study communication since 2 years and, in the future, I would like to democratize good consumer habits, for a world more clean, and for a society more aware !

I appreciate giving my time for project that I support, which are in agreement with my ethic. It's probable the more important thing to me : be happy and glowing on what you do in your life !
I would define myself as a positive and smiling person, alway ready to help in a project. I'm not afraid to do some of the dirty work, and I am very active, especially when the sun shows the tip his nose !

I also love being creative : I'm enjoying taking picture of things I find interesting and beautiful, only silver. I sew with my mom and my grandmother, like a lot. I'm also painting sometime, with watercolor.
I'm confortable on Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) because ,as a communication student, I used to create loads of flyers, communication medium, bill, banner... I really enjoy that !
I'm also a rock climber since I'm around 10, I love this sport but I definitely need to practice more this year !!

I lived in Houston for 6 months as an au pair, so I can easily drive in the US. Houston has a very busy trafic, one of the largest freeway in the US I think, let's say that I learned on the best ground ...
This experience was fantastic, it allows me to be more mature, open-minded, and responsible. I like travelling alone and face the unknown for more fun and more adventure !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me sharing a house with local people is important and very interesting, to me it's the best way to discover cultures, languages, etc. You have the possibility to share more easily with others and this direct connection allows you to be more confident and more fair with others, which is crucial nowadays !
My objectives this year, and maybe thanks to you, is learning fishing, workwood, practicing new sports, discovering beautiful landscape, and sharing a lot of skills ! I'm looking for an adventure in the US from the 10 of June until the 11 of July 2018, I will travel this time with my little sister, Agathe (she is 21 on early June) because I want to share a strong story with her.
