About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Riding our enfields through India, around 10,000 km in 10 weeks.

PHILOSOPHY

"Live and let live" basically.

I believe that anyone can live his life the way he wants. I like to experience and talk to other people about their opinions and thoughts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Setting up a new couch at my place, trying to make the room into a travellers lounge full of books and maps of interest.

Interests

Photography could fill my life, I just love it. Aside from that everything creative like music, sketching and writing generally is bound to grab my attention.

I like good books and movies (no certain genre) and wine & food.

I'm always looking for smart and funny people to hang out with.

Music, Movies, and Books

My current favorite band is Volbeat. Great mix of uptempo rock with an oldschool touch. A little rockabilly as well. Simply great.

Other than that I'm much into Metal but I like good music across all flavors - Melissa Etheridge, Phil Collins, good Jazz and Blues, you name it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the great pleasure to see northern lights in Scandinavia, ice mummies in Peru and hundreds of huge spiders next to where I walked in Darjeeling. Bike riding in India.
Having had Dengue fever is also quite high on my list. Though on the opposite side of the spectrum :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Just two things:

If you want to really _see_ something, don't take photos - watch it.

Don't forget to pack duct tape. Ever.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Norway, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, India
