I love people, language, traveling, and being able to help people, and I figured what better way to make new friends and help travelling strangers? I dance salsa, tango, & other latin styles of dance and I encourage those of you that don't to try it. So much fun!

For now I would just be like to be a part of this great group of travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was urged to join by my very good friend who's a CouchSurfer in South America. She knows me well, and thought I would fit perfectly into the community! I've only hosted once, but it was a great experience that turned into a friendship.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

My interests here are really broad so it might be hard to give you a good picture. I watch a lot of French, Spanish, and Mandarin films because I enjoy them and they're good for my language interests. I like documentaries, generally anything by Almodovar, dramas,feel good movies, and comedies. I love martial arts movies! A few favorites in my list here are: Amelie, The Salt Men, Novo, & Valentin. A few from my music selection: Beruit, Manu Chao, Buena Vista Social Club, Jorge Drexler, Bebel Gilberto, Gotan Project, Ali Farka Toure, Al Green, Bebo Valdes, Brazilian Girls, Caetano Veloso, Friendly Fires, Coldplay, Phoenix, The Kooks, etc. Books - I've done a lot of reading on foreign policy, diplomacy, and history. Currently I'm reading A orillas del rio Piedra me senté y lloré and Bonjour Tristesse.
