About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the world a better place.
ABOUT ME
How would I describe myself? Well, I will say that I'm a fun loving person! I work hard to achieve my goals in life. I'm a music teacher at a high school near where I live. I play many instruments and I sing as well. I enjoy cooking and learning about the cuisine of other cultures. If you're in Los Angeles, perhaps I'll make some Italian food for you :) Outside of my regular job I'm a mechanic specializing in classic Mercedes Benz. I have been dancing salsa for 3 years now and recently joined a team in Los Angeles to take my dancing ability to the next level!
I first began to travel internationally in 2007, when I went to China. I've been enthusiastic about travel ever since. I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures. I'm particularly interested in Latin American culture.
PHILOSOPHY
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself." -Matthew 22:39
"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough." -Mae West
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by offering my time and knowledge to those interested in learning more about my country, culture, and language, and of course am willing to offer help in any way I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Right now, my Couchsurfing experience is limited to talking to and sharing my information with others, as my current living situation prohibits me from hosting people. However, I'm always willing to meet with those who are travelling or passing through my city to show them around and to lend a hand in case of need.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very passionate about music. For this reason, I'm mostly indiscriminate with what I'm open to listening to, but I find myself listening to mostly classical, oldies, latin, and electronic. I'm not very fond of mainstream hip hop, though there are a few artists with songs that are good and I'll listen to voluntarily.
Teach, Learn, Share
Being a teacher myself, my philosophy of teaching is that you cannot teach what you do not know. So, I can and will teach everything that I know to people that want to know what I know, and hope that others would be willing to do the same for me. If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to ask and I'd be glad to show you!
