ABOUT ME

ok well, I'm really into music, been playing guitar and busking for years now, mostly bluegrass and blues. Travelling and music are really the only things I'm passionate about in life right now. I love meeting people I do enjoy my quiet time but I'm also a hyper social person. I'm interested in Yoga and practice usually everyday. I get along with most people as well, and really a good track record's never a bad thing. I love exchanging travel stories and just having fun with cool people so let's hangout!

PHILOSOPHY

Bascially, be nice to people and try to accept that life is up and down and you just gotta learn to love it all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to have an account years ago but I didn't use it for a long time so it was deleted, however I've hosted people from all over the world and have personally couchsurfed all over Canada, though often it was from strangers that picked me up hitch-hiking and decided I wasn't crazy. I've always really appreciated surfers that were independent and went out on their own so I always try to just be open to hanging out with my hosts but be ok with exploring on my own.

Interests

I love music, I'm obsessed with it. I'm also very interested in Yoga and Permaculture. I used to build Yurts and am very interested in simple, natural homes you can build by hand with no power tools, or as few as possible. I'm also interested in people and how to live with as little money as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live on a school bus with 18 other people travelling around Canada, one time we stopped in front of a sunflower field on the prairies while the sun was coming up, sprinting through 7 foot sunflowers while the sun's JUST coming over the horizon is pretty. freakin. awesome. I've been a fire spinner in India, been stranded in Nepal, swam in the Gonga river, Planted over 100,000 trees.

another time on that same bus we decided to go on an adevnture in the badlands of alberta and we got caught in a crazy rain/lightening storm. Rain so thick we could see each other and lightening bouncing off hills 20 feet from us. it was crazy.
