I'm new to Couchsurfing!

Hey, my name is Salva, I’m 21 and currently studying Computer Science!

My main goal in life is to travel as much as possible. I've been to 10 countries so far (most of them many times), so still have a long way to go if I want to see them all 😅

I love to hear life stories from people I meet abroad and explore new cultures.

Some of my hobbies are: reading, writing, playing instruments (I try), playing chess, surfing, biking, drawing, swimming, and I'm now starting with Bouldering/Rock Climbing.

I can offer you good conversations, help around the house, delicious dishes (I love to cook and my friends don't hate it ahaha), or just some company to hang out with.

As I’m studying computer science if you need a co-working colleague, I will be the perfect match!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, for me travelling is more of a necessity ahaha
For that reason I want to be able to help other travelers from all around the globe.
My favourite thing about travelling is meeting new people with different life stories and backgrounds from mine. I love knowing more about the world and getting out of my comfort zone. I also prefer to explore cities from a more local perspective rather than a tourist one. For all those reasons I’m on Couchsurfing, let's make travelling more accessible for everyone! 😄

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music from underground, rock, pop, techno, reggaeton, folk-pop, rap etc.
My favourite music is November Rain by Guns n’ Roses.
Currently, I'm exploring some Folk music like Hozier and Noah Kahan.

My favourite movies are I would say, Good Will Hunting, Kill Bill (1&2), Three Days to Kill (childhood memories), Lost in Translation, and Death Poet Society. I also love all Star Wars movies and Marvel movies as well.

About books, as a kid, I loved Cherub novels by Robert Muchamore, I’ve also read all the Harry Potter books among others.
Now unfortunately I don't read that much, though I'm always carrying a book around and would love to get my reading habit back! I like a good book, fiction and non-fiction.
The last books I read were “Fahrenheit 451”, “Animal Farm” and currently reading “Sputnik Sweetheart”.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing Erasmus+ project (1 out of 4) in Italy in 2022 that was life-changing.
Lived a total of 12 weeks in Germany in a remote location as a Summer Camp guide teaching English to kids.
