About Me

Sometime lazy, sometime extremely hardworking, most of the time optimistic. I like to have fun and make jokes. I am curious about culture, history, and most of all people.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything changes - so do I. And I hope the change is for the better direction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was living in a rural village of Paraguay 10 years ago, there wasn't many exciting things going around. I found this website at that time, and surprise! I even had two couch surfers to my village which is not touristic at all. I showed him the farm that I worked in, and he even had a chance to work in the field with me. Yep, he enjoyed it a lot! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am the one of the biggest beneficiaries of CS! Since I joined CS , I have hosted numbers of travelers, and I have surfed dozens of times during I traveled around.

I've traveled on a bike and without money for two months in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. CS friends were my saviors in the trip!

Interests

I think life is an art, and its goal is happiness. There is no formula or some strict rules that we have to follow to make it beautiful. It is about understanding what are the ingredients of happiness and find the ways to make that happen. I am working on this art piece.

  • meditation
  • outdoor activities
  • hiking
  • happiness
  • art of living

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Jazz, Bossanova, and Latin Music.
At the moment I am reading a book called Conquest of Happiness by Bertrand Russell. I am interested in history, neural science, and I read books on economics half out of interest and the other half because I have to :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

World round trip for 365 days with my entire family.
Volunteering in Paraguay for 2 years.
Bike traveling in Iberian peninsula and Morocco for 2 months with only 20 Euros.

And most of all, living now is just an amazing thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show some of my favorite places in Barcelona (although I am still new to here). I can teach you how to cook some Korean food and other original food that I will improvise.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany, Italy, Paraguay, South Korea, Spain, United States
