About Me

My name is Salvador, I am a graduate studies student that loves to travel and explore. Life has gotten the best of me recently and have not been able to travel as much but I want to make it a goal for next year to travel more often. This Spring I will be traveling to Boston, it will be my first time in the East Coast and I am thrilled. I am looking for hosts in order to save money as I am already on a tight budget. I also appreciate staying with locals since they know the place and can show me around if they'd like. I am a super friendly, kind, and caring person. I love to connect with people and make friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because it is a great concept that allows people to host others while they are traveling. This seems to be a great community that cares for experiences instead of monetary gain. If I were able to I would host, but definitely plan to in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite food is Indian, Thai, and Japanese food. I love any and all ethnic foods, additionally food will always be one of my comforts and I love sharing those moments with others. My music taste is pretty diverse, but my all time favorite band are the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I got to see them live in Leed, UK. As for movies, anything Marvel. I love the marvel universe and their amazing movies, have you seen the new Spider Man?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked Mt. Whitney, the tallest peak in the 49 contiguous states during a 50 mile backpacking trip. This was a trip of a life time. However, since them I have also been to London and Alaska. Those were also pretty amazing.
