Overview
About Me
If you need a place in Rome, message me, now it's the time I am able to host you. In a week? I don't know.
Well, I can say I'm quite easy going and not judgmental, although curious as a monkey, you better know, I love to talk about film and experimental art and I don't trust people who don't want to talk about films because knowing the plot would spoil the surprise.
Quite cyclothimic and also meteophatic, a world that doesn't exist in English, but if you know a bit of romance languages you would work out that that means that my mood can get easily affected by the weather.
Vegetarian, UPDATE: Not anymore, but mostly - interested and aware of issues as climate change and way to tackling this - also if we have already got into unstoppable global warming - as reduction of CO2 emissions, permaculture, cycling around, not booking too many flights or even better trying to avoid it at all, I'm waiting to have time and resources to see clearer into things like permaculture, organic farming, eco building and the like. Starting to understand that revolution will be local if it will ever be. That would be desirable. I mean revolution.
I am marxist and I don't like rich people and who defends them, usually cops.
I am generous and also stingy.
I am bitter, sarcastic and pessimistic but also cheerful, naive as a child and just a light heart, glad just to be.
I'm reassured by contradictions, they are a sign of quality in things.
My mission are actually 3, indeed 4: I heard it's Jewish wisdom that says: a man, in his life, have to accomplish at least 3 things: generate one child (that's enough, we are already too much), plant a tree and write a book (regarding this I'm already there or halfway there, since I have written quite a few short novels that put together might do a collection of short novels, but my aim is quality not quantity). Update: I finished a novel, so this part of the mission is accomplished.
I am really a music person and get on particularly well with musicians, children and witty people.
Well I could continue but I stop here if we meet you'll find out more, maybe :-)
PHILOSOPHY
1)The desert grows up. Troubles to who hides deserts.
2)Take it easy baby, take as it comes, don't move too fast, if you want your love to last

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
surfing, hosting, meeting people. all of this when I'm able to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have finally made my first couchsurfing experience crashing the couch of the superlovely Lin from Timra and it was simply amazing.
I felt in love with couchsurfing and I hope to be more and more involved in this project.
Actually this is what I have always regularly done, having people on, sleeping in people's place, I am a south european so sharing things and being hospitable comes quite natural to me.
Update: lately it happened to me to run into few asian people, who fascinated me a lot.
it struck me to find out how their outlook on life can be totally different from mine.
I'm a disillusioned, angry, discouraged south european aware that the very ground of western civilization is screwed forever and we are actually galopping towards a grim if not unimaginable bad end, disgusted by its pseudo-values or rather nichilistic boredom, while these guys have just got into that shit and they are enthusiastic and trusting in the future. how unbelievable is that?

TALEBA MAN

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Italian, how to cook pasta (a microteaching lesson about pasta got me a grant of 15.000 pound so I'm pretty qualified it seems :-), good places to go to in Sicily, I can explain you a bit of philosophy and basics of guitar (like just chords).
I would like to improve my guitar skills and to know more about permaculture but really as I said I'm quite curious so teach me everything :-)
