Hey, I'm Sam! I'm a solo traveller from London, I have been travelling SE Asia, Malaysia and Indonesia for the last 3 months. I'm new to couch surfing but have been recommend it so thought I'd give it a shot. I'm easy going and just like to explore new cities and speak to the locals.

Interests

I'm a hairdresser by trade so I love people, art, fashion and culture. I'm very social and love going out and meeting people for a few beers. I'm very happy with spending time on my own and finding my way through different cities and countries. I enjoy being productive and I also like enjoy lying on a beach all day doing nothing.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is The 1975, and I love going to festivals back home in the uk. My favourite movie is anything with Leonardo di caprio in and my favourite books are Harry Potter, twilight saga and hunger games (yes I have the same interests as a 13 year old girl, but there fab!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a long tail boat through Ha Long bay has been the highlight off my trip so far, a long with seeing sunrise at Ankor wat temple in Cambodia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about different countries and its history. One thing I've learnt about travelling is how unaware I was off others countries and regions history, I spent far too long in Vietnam and Cambodia learning about its history and it's wars but it has opened my eyes and made me hungry to learn about every countries history and political system.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a tidy guy and happy to spend time on my own or being social. I have been doing cooking classes in every country I've visited so can cook up a mean massaman curry or pad thai. I can also throw in a free haircut!
