Currently I am not hosting as I am travelling spain and then south america with my other half for an extended period of time!

I am an englishman currently exploring the world with hopes of seeing it through locals eyes by sharing experiences and perspectives. I have worked in restaurants, psychiatric units and in the countryside which has given me a open minded perspective on life.

I have lived most of my life next to beaches which has given me a great respect for the ocean but has driven my love for the mountains and mountain life in general. I'm pretty sure I will end up living within a mountainous region somewhere in the world.

I'm currently learning spanish which I expect to continue for the indefinite future and I want to learn the basics of other languages in order to make future travels as smooth as possible. My studies within environmental management have allowed me to appreciate the deep complexity of sustainability and pressures me to be responsible especially whilst on the road. Also as a result of my studies I have a deep desire to learn more about sustainable living whether that be off the grid in the middle of nowhere or within cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently utilising couchsurfing in order to experience underlying cultures and cuisines around the world with like minded people, a bit like anthony bourdain ;). I have been using my girlfriends account for most of my adventures so this profile is a bit scarce but looking to add some reviews through meeting new people very soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to keep my moments of awe locked away for storytelling for future grandchildren. I also quite often leave my camera and phone stowed away to truely take in incredible moments!
