About Me

Hey, I'm a 21 year old Australian travelling with my partner Emily (also australian). We're easy-going, good for a laugh and open-minded.

She's a Fashion Major, and i'm an acting graduate.

Good food, good drink and good company- we're a heap of fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet new people from different walks of life and to have a better experience on a smaller budget.
And fun (woo)

I'm quite new, but have CS before and hosted people in both London and Spain! I've been travelling for 19 months and only now thought to make this account. Bit slow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Arctic Monkeys, Andrew Mcmahon, Queen, Chet Faker, The Killers, Hozier, Billy Joel, Jack White, some old school Zeppelin, Hendrix, Doors and The Who, Childish Gambino and a Little bit of Kanye...

Anything by Bret Easton Ellis. Or Oscar Wilde. Picture of Dorian Grey is my fav.

Layercake is probably my favourite film. Followed closely by anything Christopher Nolan. Kevin Spacey and Phil Seymour Hoffman are my heroes (acting nerd).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This isn't anything too amazing, but when i was living in Barcelona, the local cafe owner, although fluent herself, would never let me speak english to her. I always had to order my coffee/donut in Spanish. We'd have some little chats and over about a month this total stranger improved my Spanish so much. Its small, but it meant a lot to me.

Oh, and this maybe a poor reflection on me, but in all my travels I've only ever lost a drinking competition once.

And I've been travelling for 19 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ethos-
Life's too short to be a fuckwit.

You only live once- Not in the "YOLO" bullshit 'lets-get-hammered' way, but in the "see-the-world-make-friends-with-different-people-and-learn-and-share-yourself-with-everything" way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, Emily can cook the shit out of a bowl of pasta. At the least, if you're hosting us for a few nights, let us do you dinner. food, wine. the works. we're pretty good. Also I can regale you with tales of my travels, but yours will probably be more interesting. So I can listen! (woo)
