Overview
About Me
I am currently studying civil engineering at Bath university and I try to squeeze as much travelling as possible into the year between semesters. I enjoy anything active and outdoors or anything to do with music. I live in London with my parents when I'm not at uni, so I won't be able to host guests until I move out...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like most people on here, I love travelling to new places. One of the best things about it is meeting the locals - and what better way to do that than couchsurfing? Also, paying for a hotel seems pointless when there are people kind enough to lend out a free sofa!
Interests
The first thing I do when I travel somewhere new is to take in the views and surroundings; the second is to take a photo. I take my camera with me everywhere when I'm not at home and I've built up quite a gallery from around the world, which will continue to expand in the future...

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music depends entirely on my mood, so I pretty much enjoy all genres... try me. As for movies, action, drama, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy are all up there - anything with a decent story line, really - and whenever I'm recommended a film I make sure to write it down. I don't read a lot, but I enjoy non-fiction stories (Harry Potter being an exception!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I spontaneously decided to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and it was the greatest decision of my life. The people I met, the struggle to the top and the views along the way made for an unforgettable experience. I used the challenge to raise money for a local Tanzanian orphanage, which gave me an even greater sense of achievement.
