Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Shacking up with the locals, in a 'home' environment, is in my view the most authentic way to travel as you get to properly learn about a new city and culture (cf. a hostel or hotel). I really enjoy connecting with people in this sort of setting and I think you get the most out of your stay when you experience and observe the customs/ways of living up close and personal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Without a doubt the biggest euphoria moment for me was the Tomorrowland festival set in Belgium, 2018.

To see so many people from so many different backgrounds, ethnicities and countries all waving flags and beaming with energy was such a unique atmosphere that is hard to put into words.

I went with family and friends which made the event even more special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lead a pretty interesting life, I would say, and would love the chance to exchange stories of experiences with a prospective host, and just generally get to know them over a coffee, a beer or a meal!

I am also able to help out around the house, if needed! :)
