ABOUT ME

We're a couple living the good life in Paekakariki on the Kapiti Coast.

We value experience over things - so we don't lead a totally cluttered life, but we do have views of the sea.

We're both passionate about making the world a nicer place to life - El works with deaf-blind people to enable them to communicate, and Sam always seems to have a few projects on the go- be they social business, or enviro-focused.

We welcome interesting people from all walks of life, but come prepared for a chat!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're new to Couch Surfing, but love the ethos and the surfers we've met so far. That's what makes us want to host - and probably in the future, surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've not couch surfed through this network, but of course we've had some good times.

When I was travelling in Africa, I was put up by some friends of my family who I'd never met. What an experience - not only was I looked after & fed - I was taken around town, shown the city (Nairobi) and got to meet some friends of theirs. It was a real insight into life in that country, and that forms part of my want to give others the experience too.
